Michelle Obama Worshipers' Demand Google Fix Image Search Results

I've been watching this for a couple of days. Finally decided to blog about it. I think this except sums up the liberal outrage and Google's response. From Michelle Obama Watch:

It has been 2 days since I began my countdown to how long it would take Google to FIX their image search result for Michelle Obama. Just in case you’ve never done a search I’ll save you the time. This is what you will find…

How disturbing is that? What’s even more disturbing is that one of the world’s most powerful search engines, Google, has not officially responded nor have they taken the image down. A Google employee by the name of Jimmy Deheeger, title unknown, responded to the search result in the Google web search Help Forum…

“I agree that this image is clearly offensive and in very poor taste. Appropriate action will be taken after a speedy review. Thanks for the prompt, detailed reports that brought this issue to my attention!”

How inappropriate is it for the first image to appear in their search engine is a racist caricature of the First Lady of the United States as a chimpanzee?

Offensive? Or just plain funny? You can decide that. By the way, I don't seem to recall any outrage from the left when it came to the 8 years of shenanigans perpetrated via Google regarding PRESIDENT George W. Bush. To heck with that. Playing the nutroots' own game, do a Google image search of "George Bush". What do you find? Likenesses of President Bush to a chimpanzee? Check. Fake pictures of President Bush flipping the bird? Check. Photoshopped pictures of President Bush eating a kitten? Check that too.

Where's the outrage MO Watch? Where is it? Yes. Please. Have Google "FIX" that too.

So we can compare Bush to a monkey but not Michelle Obama? Who is the racist?

I seem to recall the libs "google-bombing" so a search on W. would bring up the words "abject failure."
This is occurring naturally via Google's algorithm. Live with it, whiners!

George W. Bush does not belong to a race that has a long history of being crudely and hatefully compared to monkeys by racists.

Clearly, you should be able to recognize the historical significance of such a comparison.

Secondly, a Google image search of Bush posts his official presidential portrait as the first image, as it reasonably should. There are no overly degrading images of Bush on the search first page, just one goofy expression. The complaint is that the very first picture of Michelle Obama is the racist caricature. Do we really need our kids, particularly those of color, seeing that image of the nation’s First Lady when they try to research her? Politics aside, any decent American would say no.

The freedom of speech was instituted to protect that which we do not agree with, not that which we do.

Google is a corporate interest and they have guidelines for what they will allow to be posted in their search engine. They are not legally bound to allow whatever speech people may wish to post. Racist imagery is against such rules, and fortunately, they have removed the image in question today as a result.

Selective outrage from the nutty left. They're worried about that picture, but concerned in the least about what Madame MO and her dipshit hubby are doing to America. They couldn't even tell you about Obama's policies. But I'll bet they could tell you what MO wore yesterday.

Thank goodness the pictures of her with the Hitler mustache didn't pop up ...

Hey Crix, you got any kids? Particularly those "of color?" I do.

I've got kids of color too Crix, Who the fuck are you to tell me how they and I feel?

My kids color. Does that count? I've said it before. I'll say it again. Libs need to publish a list of things we can talk about, criticisms we can make, and joke we can tell without being accused of being racist. Publish the list fools!

And if it matters, my children are "of color" too. Just maybe not the shade of brown that can be selectively indignant when it's convenient for them to be so. Poor kids. Not light enough to carry the white man's burden, and not dark enough to tell the white man to carry more. I guess that means they'll be attending a state college.
