Wow! Gay and Muslim. Is it a given that he is a registered democrat?
Dallas Morning News investigative reporter Lee Hancock and photographer Courtney Perry got a look today inside Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's former apartment, now that criminal investigators in Killeen are done with it.
Hasan moved out of the apartment last Thursday, a few hours before the shooting rampage. The complex manager gave journalists permission to view the unit today.
There were no obvious clues left behind, of course. But there was a plastic container for a LaserMax sight. Price tag: $229.99.
Hancock reports they saw several old bottles of prescription pills. One, from 2001, was for the HIV medication Combivir.

Funny thing with the media, if a soldier had been "hit on" by a don't ask don't teller, and had shot 13 gays, there would be 24 hr. a day coverage on the homaphobes. Or a white guy shooting 13 minorities, the military would be filled with racist. But a muslim killing 13 unarmed soldiers, he isn't a Islamic extremist.
The wussifacation of America is killing us.
I think doctors also take that if they've been possibly exposed to HIV. I think he was scared of gays and scared of blood. That's why he became a head doctor - no blood exposure.
